Using the Main Menu
2. Under "New" and "Confirm", enter the
new admin password.
3. Click the Cha
nge Admin Password button
to update the admin password.
Spot Setup
The Spot Setup menu allows you to configure
the output settings of the spot out monitor. An
external monitor connected to the Video OUT
port can be configured as a spot out monitor.
NOTE: 16-channel models only: External
monitors connected to the Spot OUT port
are automatically configured as a spot out
monitor and cannot be used as the main
output. Use the settings below to configure
spot out settings for the monitor connected
to the Spot OUT port.
To configure the Spot Setup settings:
1. Configure the following:
• Aut
o-Seq Interval (Seconds): Enter the
duration (in seconds) of the dwell time
during sequence mode.
• Enable Spot (4/8-channel models only):
Select to enable sequence mode on the
monitor connected to the Video OUT port.
NOTE: To enable the monitor connected to
Video OUT as the main output, deselect the
Enable Spot checkbox.
• Skip
Video Loss Channel: Select to skip
channels with video loss.
• Channels: Select the channels that display
on the spot out monitor.
2. Right-click and click Ye
s to save your
settings.
UTILITIES
The Utility menu allows you to
format hard drives, restore system
defaults, upgrade the system firmware, and
configure other system settings.
HDD Initialization
The HDD Initialization is used to format the
system hard drive.
To format the system hard drive:
1. Click HDD Initiali
zation.
2. Under "No.", select the checkbo
x beside
the hard drive you wish to format.
3. Click the Start butt
on.
4. Click Ye
s again on the warning to format
the hard drive.
5. When formatting is complete, a "Success"
mes
sage appears under the Status
column.
WARNING: Formatting the hard drive
permanently erases all data.
