Using the Main Menu
HTTP Setup
The HTTP Setup menu allows you to change
the system port number and video streaming
quality during remote viewing.
To configure the HTTP Setup menu:
1. Configure the following:
• ENABLE:
Select the ENABLE checkbox to
customize the system resolution and frame
rates during remote viewing.
• PORT: Enter the system port number (by
default, 80).
• No. : Select the channel you wish to
configure.
• Resolution: Select from QCIF or CIF
resolution.
NOTE: QCIF: 180x120(NTSC) / 180X144(PAL)
NOTE: CIF: 360x240(NTSC) / 360X288(PAL)
• Qu
ality: Select the video quality. Choose
from LOW, MIDDLE, HIGH, SUPER or
ULTRA.
• F/S: Enter the desired channel frame rate.
2. If desired, click the Auto butt
on to allow
the system to assign maximum frame
rates across all channels.
3. Right-click and click Ye
s to save your
settings.
DDNS Setup
The DDNS Setup window allows you to enter
your Digimerge DDNS settings in the DVR. This
step is required for remote access.
Pre-requisites:
• Create a Digimerge DDNS account.
• P
ort forward the DVR port number to your
router (by default, port 80).
• Have your DDNS User ID, password, and
domain name ready.
For details on remote connectivity, see
“Appendix B: Setting up Remote Viewing” on
page 98.
To configure DDNS settings:
1. Beside Enable DDNS, select the checkbox
to
enable DDNS.
2. Enter the following:
• Domai
n Name: Enter the DDNS domain
name. For example, if your DDNS address
is tomsmith.digimergeddns.net, enter
tomsmith.
• User ID: Enter the DDNS user ID (emailed
to you during the DDNS account creation
process).
• Password: Enter the DDNS password
(emailed to you during the DDNS account
creation process).
3. Under DDNS TEST, click the Start b
utton
to test the connection. If you receive a
"succecss" message, then DDNS is
properly configured.
